Terms of Service
By downloading or using SplitSecond Pay, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. What SplitSecond Pay Does
SplitSecond Pay is a bill-splitting utility that helps you calculate tips, taxes, and per-person totals at a restaurant or similar setting. It is provided for personal, non-commercial use.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use this app. By using SplitSecond Pay, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Pro Purchase
SplitSecond Pay Pro is available as a one-time in-app purchase through the Apple App Store. All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's own terms and refund policies. We do not offer refunds directly — if you have a billing issue, please contact Apple Support.
Pro features are unlocked on the device tied to your Apple ID. Restoring purchases is available through the app's settings.
4. Your Data
SplitSecond Pay does not require an account and does not collect personal information. Bill calculations and split history are stored locally on your device. We do not transmit, sell, or share your data.
If you contact us for support, any information you share will only be used to respond to your request.
5. Third-Party Services
The app may initiate requests to third-party payment apps such as Venmo or PayPal. These interactions are governed by those services' own terms. We have no control over and take no responsibility for third-party platforms.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to reverse engineer, modify, or misuse the app in any way that violates applicable law or these terms. The app is provided as-is for its intended purpose.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
SplitSecond Pay is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or produce perfectly accurate calculations in all scenarios. Always verify totals before settling a bill.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DahVio Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including but not limited to disputes over bill amounts between you and other parties.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at this URL. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.
